Three Days Grace "One-X" Album - Hueforge Art

Seven paper-doll figures stretch across a stark black canvas, their white silhouettes holding hands in a chain that echoes the haunting imagery from Three Days Grace's iconic "One-X" album cover. The deep crimson X marks slashed across each figure's chest cut through the white with unsettling precision, while a blood-red splatter bleeds from the upper left corner — a faithful recreation of the original 2006 album art that resonates with the raw emotional themes of identity and struggle the record is known for. The high-contrast palette of pure white against an absolute black background gives the piece a dramatic, almost theatrical weight. The HueForge layering technique achieves a remarkable paper-cut dimensionality here, with the figure chain reading almost like actual folded paper thanks to the subtle texture built up through filament depth transitions. The white carries a clean, slightly matte finish, which keeps the focus sharp on those bold red details without any distracting sheen. This piece would look striking mounted on a dark wall in a music room or studio space, where the black background blends seamlessly into shadowed surroundings and lets the white figures appear to float independently.
